The tender and poetic monologue is based on the life of Despina Achadioti, the so-called «Lady of Ro», a free spirited and defiant woman. The play has is set against the turbulent history of Kastellorizo, the tragic consequences of two consecutive wars, the despair and the inner thoughts of a woman faced with the elements of nature who still hopes that her faith in humanity can make the world a better place.
Fotini Baxevani embodies human strength and the hope that when faced with challenging times, the solutions come from within.
