From the 15 of June, for the first time, in the ancient theater of Curium and the Pafos Odeon, an international ballet festival will take place.
Leading ballet dancers from Russia, Italy, Ukraine and artistic gymnasts from Cyprus will participate in the festival.
The program of the festival includes performances of famous old classical ballet as well as contemporary ballet.
Performances at Curium Theater, Limassol:
– June 15th – Romance of Classical Ballet
– June 16th – Captain & Ballerina – story of one love
– July 5th – Aphrodite – Goddess of Love
– July 6th – She who runs on the waves – song of the sea
Performances at Paphos Odeon:
June 17th – Classic and Modern
July 10th – Gala of Classical Ballet
The ancient theaters of Curium in Limassol and Odeon in Paphos offer a fantastic atmosphere which will enhance the enjoyment of the performances. The audience will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the art of ballet, while being in the magical atmosphere of an ancient theater under a starlit sky.
