Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades was discharged from hospital on Sunday after undergoing an operation.
The President had broken his thigh bone due to a fall and is now recovering at home according to government spokesman Prodromos Prodromou in a statement.
The President also had the chance to congratulate via phone New Democracy leader Konstantinos Mitsotakis for winning the Greek Elections and taking his new role as Prime Minister.
