The “Carob Festival” is organized every year and aims at passing on the tradition to the younger and waking up memories to the older ones, while passing on the tradition and culture to the travelers. This year’s event will take place on Friday, September 6th at 7.30pm in St. George Square in Peyia and will feature a Traditional Cypriot Night.
Visitors will have the opportunity to watch traditional Cyprus handmade products, Cypriot food preparation, traditional carob sweeteners, carob marmalade, and zivania. There will also be food for sale as well as various Cypriot traditional dishes and drinks.
