Galata Bakery Festival

Get to know the genuine Cypriot traditions through a special and interesting festival. The Bakery Festival is dedicated to the production of various bakery products, since the island has a tradition because of its mills. As part of the festival, which will take place at Galata Cultural Center, at 15.00, there will be an exhibition of traditional pastries, traditional products will be offered, on-site pastries and traditional bread will be baked as well.

There will also be a demonstration of traditional professions in the area of ​​folklore museum, a photo exhibition and a rich traditional music and dance program. On the day of the event, the Museum of Folk Art and the Byzantine churches of the community will be open to the public, and there will be an organized tour starting at 11.00 from the church of Panagia Podithos.
