The pharos Arts Foundation presents a recital with the fascinating German musician Katharina Treutler. Acclaimed for her “great sensitivity and good dexterity” (Classic FM), Treutler is a prize winner in a range of competitions, together with the International Piano Competition Luciano Luciani in Italy, the Chopin Society Prize and also the International Brahms Competition, and she has performed all over the world with such orchestras as the London symphony orchestra, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and also theTokio Philharmonic Orchestra. Her recital in Nicosia, on 23 November 2018, coincides with the release of her new album, Beyond, and it’ll include works by J.S. Bach, Liszt, Franck and prokofiev. The recital is organized as a part of the german language Weeks and it’s kindly supported by the Embassy of Germany in Cyprus.
