Walk for Freedom

The A21 Campaign and A-Team Nicosia are hosting the 1st Walk for Freedom in Nicosia!

On the 20th of October thousands of people will walk with us in more than 500 cities, in 50 countries. Walk For Freedom aims to raise awareness that slavery not only exists in our days but it is the fastest growing crime of our time.

TIME AND LOCATION:
On Saturday, October 20, we will gather for the walk at the Faneromeni school at 16:30.

ATTIRE:
You can either order the A21 T-shirt online while you fill the participation form, which costs 5 euros, or you can still participate wearing a plain black t-shirt.

VOLUNTEERING:
If you’re interested in volunteering on the day of the walk, please let us know! Volunteers are needed to help with registration, answering questions, and organizing the participants. Volunteers must arrive at Faneromeni square by 16.15 on 20 of October.

SOCIAL MEDIA: 
You can make an even greater impact and raise more awareness through social media! Let your friends on facebook, twitter, and instagram know you will be participating in the walk and why you’re doing it. Encourage them to join and post photos from the event under the hashtag #WalkForFreedom.
